The distributor will then gets in touch with a business that will then make minions of copies of the via DVD and Blue ray. The electronic file will then also go to other parties such as iTunes that will have a percentage of the price of the film. They electronic version is better as it does not cost them to have to pay for the DVD and Blue ray's which gives them more profit.

The cinema will pay for the film but will be in the hundred of thousands some times millions and then it is for them to get their money back and to then make a profit.
After it has been seeing the cinemas then they release the DVD's and make more profit out of that.
This is the process of what happens after the movie has been shot and what order things are done.
